The Office without Michael Scott

The curtains are soon to come to a close for The Office’s Michael Scott (Steve Carrell).  He announced his departure even before the seventh season started.

Not often do major characters in any given T.V. show leave. In many crime shows, such as CSI or Criminal Minds, main characters are often leave or are killed off. But in such a happy and funny show like The Office, the departure of such a central role will leave a gaping hole.

Considering he is the manager and the boss of The Office, not many can qualify to take over his role.  So who will replace him? NBC has already renewed The Office for an eighth season.

One comes to mind.

Ricky Gervais — he was the manager of U.S. version of The Office’s counterpart, The Office U.K..Unfortunately, that show ended only after two seasons, but many argue that the latter was the superior one. Either way, Ricky Gervais is a master of comedy and certainly qualified to take over Michael Scott’s job. In fact, he made a cameo appearance in an episode of season 7 which can only lead viewers to assume that he will return full time one day.

The only way to be sure is to continue watching the Office! So everybody continue watching, and if you’ve been missing out, catch up quickly!

Legen-…Wait for it…

DARY!

Pretty cheesy picture..don’t let this mislead you though.

If you don’t watch HIMYM, you will probably not know what the title means, nor will you understand what it means AFTER watching the video below:

The show How I Met Your Mother, or HIMYM, is based on a future father telling his children about the story of how he met their mother. Every episode doesn’t look like a flashback, but it is. It’s not that important because every single episode is a flashback. The group consists of five friends, living their everyday lives and making mistakes and making right decisions all leading to how Ted Mosby, the main character on his journey to find love, met his wife.

It’s nearing the end of the fifth season, and it seems a majority of the episodes go off track and don’t focus much on what the actual show is about, how he met his wife. But that’s not a problem at all, it would be boring if it was just focused on that.

The four other people in the group are Lily, Marshall, Barney, and Robin.
Lily is the goody-two shoes, Marshall is the tall feminine lawyer, Robin is the masculine Canadian woman, and last but not least, Barney Stinson is the suit-loving womanizer — and also responsible for some of the most catchiest phrases on television today.

My favorite character from the show is obviously Barney. He may as well be my favorite character in every single show on television, at an intense battle with The Office’s Michael Scott.

To top it off, here is the best tribute of the man himself I have seen to date. But be warned, some of what they say is adult material (no actual adult scenes are shown ).

If you haven’t already gone to download the show while watching this Legendary tribute, I order you to go do it now. Because it’s awesome.
